The PPC-P01.1A-N-NN-NN-NN-FW, crafted by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a standalone, PC-based control unit designed to manage motion across multiple axes simultaneously. Equipped with GMP 10 firmware, it's compatible with IndraDrive, EcoDrive03, and Diax 04 controllers and uses the SERCOS interface for communication with digital drives. The device can be inserted directly into the PC's PCI slot, simplifying setup with automatic memory allocation and negating the need for jumper cables. An optional secondary interface card provides additional digital inputs and outputs, along with the necessary communication port. The product supports the connection of up to 40 intelligent drives and SercosRecos 02 I/O modules. Other supplementary features include an extra serial interface, two Programmable Limit Switch (PLS) option cards, Link Ring for master/slave interfacing, and a Master Encoder Card (EMC) for system augmentation. With an inbuilt diagnostics system, it promptly displays status information and detects commonly encountered error types. The device also includes compact flash memory to store the system's firmware.
