The PPC-R22.1N-N-V2-NN-NN-FW CNC module from Bosch Rexroth integrates both an axis and a CNC processor system. Accommodating up to eight drives via a SERCOS interface, the module also permits three optional axis processor modules through dedicated sockets. It's intended for vertical installation and it's compact, occupying two slots in the rack. The device has a 24VDC voltage rating and adheres to EN61131-2 standards, with a -15%/20% tolerance. Important features include the S1 switch-display button, a non-operational X15 BT bus, COM (X16) and PROG (X10) serial interfaces, and a three-pin socket for buffer battery connection. The CNC module uses a fiber optic SERCOS interface to communicate with digital drives, necessitating proper documentation review before installation. Users should be aware that incorrect setup may lead to high electrical voltage, and the device surface can heat up significantly during use. The product can operate in environments having 10% to 95% humidity without condensation.
