Bosch Rexroth Indramat presents its PPC-R22.1N-T-Q1-L2-NN-FW device, a part of its PPC product group. This standalone multi-axis control unit, featuring three expansion slots, can control up to 40 digital drives produced by Bosch Rexroth. This unit's firmware, to be ordered separately, accommodates various applications. It supports DeviceNet and Profibus-DP interfaces of 32 words each, and ARCNET cross-communication. The product is rack-mountable, using RMB0.2.2 racks on 35x27x15 TS DIN rails. It also includes the VMT software for parameterization, system diagnostics, and motion control programming. It operates best with five specific types of fieldbus interfaces and must not be modified or used underwater. The unit contains a slot for a 32MB compact flash card. Its Class F insulation meets DIN VDE 40 040 specifications, while its serial ports are adjustable using the VisualMotion Toolkit. Other features include a H2 SERCOS interface distortion LED and an S1 push button for additional control settings on the H1 display.
