The PRD-B040SAIB-32 from Kollmorgen features configurable current output of 3, 6, or 10 A and up to 16 kHz PWM switching. Part of the CD Servostar CD Drives series, it accepts incremental encoders, resolvers, and Hall Effect feedback. The drive includes foldback overcurrent protection and a digital current loop in velocity mode.

It runs a control loop at 16 kHz and a velocity loop at 4 kHz. The unit supports a 24 VDC logic input. Its cable length reaches 15 m.
