The Bosch Rexroth Indramat PSI63C0.737-L1 medium-frequency inverter reduces spatter and expulsion by reducing welding current, integrates light transformers and offers a broad scope of control functions for process stability. It has unique slots for interfaces, it must be operated with gloves, and requires sufficient clearance for ventilation. Forced-air cooling is a necessity. Integrated temperature monitoring ensures the device operates within the -25°C to 70°C range, with secondary current hinging on the transformer used. With compliance to EN 61131-2, its CPU operates at 30VDC. During setup, due to its weight, additional assistance might be required. To avoid accidental restarts, the unit should be safeguarded with suitable main side fusing. Non-modification and the use of insulated tools for electric connections maintain its safety. Grounding should align with DIN VDE 0160, and separate routing for control and inverter cables avoids interference.
