The PWM3624-5579-7-1 DC Motor from Pacific Scientific uses anti-cog permanent magnets, making it capable of smooth operation even at slow speeds. These magnets support an expanded speed range and regulate the voltage of the polyester impregnated armature. No external field current is needed thanks to the generated field flux. The motor uses standard long-lasting sealed bearings and has Class H insulation, allowing it to run for extended periods without damage. It includes dynamic braking, high overcurrent capacity, constant force brush springs with replaceable brushes, and a rugged, fused commutator. Designed for high-performance servo applications, the motor features a low-inertia rotor. It provides high starting and accelerating torque and has an easy termination conduit box with a large wiring compartment. The armature rotates according to the generated force direction, and the motor uses either rare-earth or ferrite magnets, depending on the application requirements.
