The R911262571 (MDD093C-N-020-N2M-110GB0) is an MDD servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This motor is renowned for providing high contouring accuracies at high speed rates, particularly efficient for high speed cuttings. It possesses a permanent-magnet excited rotor with a moment of inertia of 61 x 10-4 kgm2, fashioned from unique magnetic materials. With the advantage of natural convection and surface cooling methods, it is capable of bearing extreme loads without risk of overheating; a factor mitigated by a thermal sensor embedded in the motor's stator.
The model incorporates a digital servo feedback with a built-in multiturn absolute encoder that evaluates the motor's absolute indirect position and relative direction. This encoder also stores the axis' absolute position post-power shutdown. Its plain output shaft, featuring a backlash-free, non-positive shaft-hub connection, is critically designed with a sealing ring to prevent fluid penetration. This motor requires no maintenance due to its brushless design and lifelong lubricated bearings. With a balance class R (DIN VDE 0530), it is recommended for demanding operations. Suitable applications include roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines and tool-changing devices. Its IP 65 rated housing (DIN 40 050) is touch-proof, dustproof and immune to multidirectional water jets.
