The Bosch Rexroth Indramat R911266697 (MDD093B-N-020-N2M-110GA0) is a high-performance digital AC motor from the MDD series. Coupled with drive controllers, these motors create efficient automation systems suited for a variety of applications such as textiles, packaging machines, and robotics. Especially recommended for applications demanding high power density like roller feeds for pressing machines, MDD093 series motors are synchronous, with speed synchronized to the input current frequency. These low-inertia motors are made with permanent magnet-excited motors using rare earth magnetic material. The MDD motor is composed of a stator, rotor shaft, windings, and an optional blocking brake, all enclosed within a sealed housing.
MDD motors are distinct for their IP65 protection rating, testament to their resistance to dust and low-pressure water jets afforded by the sealed housing and cable connectors, and the shaft seal fitted to the rotor. The R911266697 (MDD093B-N-020-N2M-110GA0) model can be operated with either efficient yet lower output convection cooling or higher output surface cooling. It operates at a nominal speed of 2000 RPM with a plain shaft for non-positive shaft-hub connections. It features a multiturn absolute encoder with digital servo feedback and a 110mm centering diameter. The power connection is located on side A of the housing, but it does not include a blocking brake.
