Introducing Bosch Rexroth Indramat's R911269923 (DDS02.1-W050-DS04-03-FW), a novel addition to the acclaimed DDS series of drive controllers. This model, coming from the second iteration of the series, provides a swift response thanks to its modular design. Modular in nature, features may vary between different units within the series. The R911269923 (DDS02.1-W050-DS04-03-FW) controller employs a SERCOS interface, enabling operation of the drive via a fiber optic cable. This configuration also includes inputs for regulating travel distance limits and reference switches, and for assessing sensor inputs. It also boasts a high-resolution position interface, permitting the transmission of sinusoidal signals to appraise an external scale mounted on the moving machine parts. The controller has a rated current set to an average of 50A, and utilizes an internal air-cooling mechanism. The heat discharged around the product is key during its installation process, and requires adequate airspace for dispersion, or possibly an air-conditioning system. The drive controller has a digital servo feedback system and prompts the users to acquire firmware separately in the unit's type code.
