The DDS series, which involves this controller, includes an array of products such as servo drives, embedded PCs, and gear technology. Specifically, the R911271029 (DDS02.1-W050-DA02-01-FW) is a first version, second series drive controller with an internal cooling system that negates the need for an additional heat-exchanger. It has an integral heatsink that serves to lower internal temperatures effectively. Noteworthy properties of this unit are a rated current of 50 A and digital servo feedback. Incorporating SERCOS interface allows the R911271029 (DDS02.1-W050-DA02-01-FW) controller to operate with SERCOS interface enabled controls via fibre optics. The recommended temperature range for optimal functioning lies between 0°C and 45°C, although it's capable of performing under de-rated data conditions up to 55°C. Installation should be limited to an elevation not exceeding 1000 meters with air humidity no more than 95%.
