The R911271688 (DDS02.1-W200-DS56-00-FW) model Drive Controller Basic Unit, designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, consists of software modules, plugin modules, and firmware, along with the core unit. Featuring a rated current of 200A, it includes a digital servo feedback system for the AC motor, linking to the terminal X4 of the motor feedback terminals. This controller is from version one of the second series. Typically, high-performance Indramat feedback cables, with a length of up to 75 m, are utilized. The device comes equipped with a SERCOS interface for communication, containing a fiber optic cable that enables message exchange between the main control and the drive. This interface also validates travel range limit switches, reference switches, and sensor inputs. A vital note about the R911271688 (DDS02.1-W200-DS56-00-FW) drive controller is that its firmware needs to be ordered separately depending upon usage intensity. Changes in the firmware's index number result from the incorporation of new functions. The device is labeled with type designations on the configuration rating plate, simplifying part replacements.
