The R911286218 (PPC-R02.2N-N-V2-NN-NN-FW) is a CNC module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Characterized by its double-wide housing, the module includes three optional sockets that can accommodate up to three processor modules, each of which can support an additional eight drives. However, multiple units cannot be linked via a backplane. The module features a line code of 2, and has a centrally located S2 reset button facilitating system resets. When used in conjunction with the PLC control unit MTS-R01.2, it provides a flexible and robust option for standard machine control.
For optimal operation, the CNC module must be positioned vertically in the module carrier within the switch cabinet. The S1 display offers a dual mode operation, possible to switch between running text and a four-character diagnosis text by pressing the S1 button. The module’s SDRAM buffered data are used in various applications including tool data, zero offsets, and machine data. Conforming to the EN 60529 specifications, the module carries an IP 20 protection rating. Extended usage at high maximum temperature or any incorrect connections may lead to high electric voltage. The inclusion of a passive SCEB01_PC104 SERCOS interface axis processor module can expand control systems to four SERCOS rings. Misuse or tampering can potentially cause electrical shock or physical harm.
