The R911286918 (NFD03.1-480-016), a mains filter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is designed for use with the HCS02 series of converters. It's characterized by a power dissipation of 6.4kW and a rated continuous current of 16A. Measuring 55 x 220 x 90 mm (W x H x D), the filter is easily installed on any DIN rail in switchgear cabinets. With the capacity to reduce electrical noise output, the R911286918 (NFD03.1-480-016) is effective in eliminating power and mains frequency interferences, and is scalable by motor cable length, number of drives, and current. This device can also be used alongside a surge protection device if required.
The filter has the ability to connect with up to six drives simultaneously and supports a maximum motor cable length of 120m. It's designed to reduce harmonics and mains noise on the power supply, as well as protecting the drive system from mains spikes. Constructed from a combination of capacitors and inductors, it operates by attenuating interference and protecting the electronic control circuit from voltage peaks. As a line filter, the capacitors in the R911286918 (NFD03.1-480-016) pose no short-circuit risk in case of an internal electrical breakdown. However, the device's filtering effectiveness is only guaranteed if the permissible throughput rating isn’t exceeded during peak loading of the servo drives.
