Bosch Rexroth Indramat's R911290218 (PPC-R02.2N-N-T2-NN-NN-FW) is a high-grade programmable motion control unit designed for both logic control and multi-axis motion control systems. It can regulate up to 40 Bosch Rexroth intelligent digital drives effectively. The commissioning of this device is executed using the VisualMotion Toolkit, the software competent to program and control these motion control devices.
Before utilizing the R911290218 (PPC-R02.2N-N-T2-NN-NN-FW), parameterization and programming must be executed to ensure the motor can perform its functions as intended. The VisualMotion Toolkit provides this programming and caters to numerous motion control solutions. This controller system is compatible with both multiple axis drives and single axis drives. It can be controlled over an open network, EtherNet/IP and communicates via a standard EtherNet protocol IEEE 802.3 used by ControlNet and DeviceNet. The units are housed in a Rack (RMB) with a Local Reco 02 form factor where there can be up to 4 RMB racks. R911290218 (PPC-R02.2N-N-T2-NN-NN-FW) ignores errors from the Reco I/O modules which are monitored by the user, providing backward compatibility with older GPP firmware versions.
