This device not only facilitates machine analysis but also installs all requisite data for smooth control. During the VCP 02 installation, it's crucial to maintain a minimum 30 mm clearance around the terminals for adequate airflow. This versatile interface can function as either an active or passive current loop. The operator's each transmission and receiving line comes equipped with an independent 20 mA power source, and a recommended voltage of 24 VDC ensures optimal function. Cross talk on signal lines can be mitigated by connecting this power source via a transmitting unit. The R911311490 (VCP02.2DRN-003-SR-NN-PW) includes a built-in battery to power a real-time clock and secure data in the VCP 02 operator's CMOS-RAM. This battery promises a lifespan of five years, even under intense usage. Notably, it's encouraged to replace the battery every four years as a preventive maintenance measure. To replace the battery, carefully remove the threaded bolts, detach the rear panel, disconnect the battery connector and insert the new battery. Finally, re-attach the rear panel and tighten the screws and threaded bolts.
