It is constructed to a compact size (specification 101) and conforming to length D, with the latest laminated insulation style and winding code 0200. Using natural convective cooling, the device effectively cools and maintains a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees centigrade. The motor is equipped with a sealing ring on a standard plain motor shaft which lacks a holding brake. It features a single-turn optical encoder, EnDat2.1, 2048 incremental, enabling indirect absolute position fixing during each mechanical turn. Standard models have an electrical connector on the A-side of the housing for easy power source access, and various versions include an increase in shaft axial run-out according to DIN-42955.
