The RAC 3.5-200-460-A00-W1-220 spindle drive controller, fabricated by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is an integral part of the RAC 3 series. The controller offers a 200 Amp current rating and needs a 220 Volts AC input while consuming 200 VA power for the control circuit. A three-phase power input ranging from 380 to 460 Volts AC (50 to 60 Hz) with a 10% tolerance fuels the power section of this controller. Key performance specifications include a 92 Amps continuous controller current and outputs between 35 and 30 Amps at an 8 kHz power section frequency. The controller boasts a rated peak output of 55 kilowatts and a continuous output of 27 kilowatts relative to the motor shaft, with a maximum regenerative capacity of 55 kilowatts at an ideal temperature range of 5-45°C and altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters. However, no additional interface, bleeder, and encoder inputs are available. The controller includes a built-in fan for temperature regulation and requires at least 160 mm clearance for proper airflow. Operating conditions outside these specifications will cause output derating. Only trained personnel should handle its installation and maintenance.
