The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RAC 3.5-200-460-A0I-Z1-220 is a spindle controller designed to precisely control 1MB frameless spindle motors and Indramat 2AD asynchronous main spindle motors. The controller ensures constant power output to the handled motor, producing steady output within the range of 10-30kW. Enhanced precision is achieved through an automatic spindle positioning mechanism with a closed feedback loop, and includes the capability to operate in C-axis. Airflow control is integrated and accommodates air or hose cooling options. On-site programming during commissioning is possible and parameters are stored in a removable unit. Additional interfacing allows for a direct PC connection and a digital setpoint can be selected with a PLC. Installation should take place below 1000m altitude, in temperatures below 45oC, and within a specific humidity range.
