The RBE-01207-A01 brushless motor, manufactured by Kollmorgen, is part of the RBE series that offers flexible solutions for frameless Direct Drive Rotary (DDR) motor applications. This model's frameless configuration doesn't include endbells, bearings, couplings and shaft, reducing complexity, weight and volume while enhancing responsiveness and servo stiffness. With its brushless design, it provides considerable mechanical advantages over traditional systems, having 8 magnetic field poles and a maximum cogging torque rating that describes its peak-to-peak torque disturbance. The motor's resistance value is measurable between any two winding leads at room temperature. The RBE-01207-A01 has a motor frame size of 012, a stack length of 07 and a winding designation of "A." It includes a stator and rotor, can integrate additional feedback devices such as resolvers, encoders, and hall sensors, and can operate at temperatures between -55°C and 155°C.
