The Kollmorgen S30601-EC is a flexible, digital servo drive from the SERVOSTAR 300 series, specially designed with expansion slots for supporting various expansion cards. To adapt to changing industrial communication systems, the drive's expandability allows for cost-efficient modification of expansion cards without needing full unit replacement. The adaptable connection options, combined with configurable input/output functions, significantly enhance the unit's versatility. With EtherCAT connectivity, it fits easily into existing EtherCAT networks, while automatic baud rate setting eliminates manual address input. The drive operates effectively within a voltage range of 208 to 480 Volts AC, making it compatible with standard industrial power networks. Ideal for controlling speed, torque, and position in synchronous or asynchronous servo motors, it should be used within a 0-40 degree Celsius ambient temperature range for best results. The S30601-EC supports vertical mounting, a built-in, optional fan for cooling, and features a 6 Amperes RMS continuous current rating.
