The S403M-PB by Kollmorgen is a digital servo amplifier designed for use with brushless synchronous servo motors by the same brand. It's mandatory to ground this unit securely to the protective earth busbar within the switch cabinet and additional filter measures are required for use in residential, business or commercial areas. It's advised to avoid touching the live device sections within five minutes of disconnection from the main power supply. It is not compatible with asymmetrically grounded supplies over 230 volts or non-grounded supply networks and should not be commissioned in non-compliant motors. The storage temperature range is -25°C to +55°C and if stored over a year, it requires capacitor reformation. The S403M-PB should be deployed in a Pollution Degree 2 environment away from dust, vapors, oils, and electrically conductive or corrosive environments. It offers overload protection at 130% of full load current without sensing motor over-temperature. The product is intended solely for industrial use. Shipping worldwide is available.
