The Kollmorgen S406BA-SE is a SERVOSTAR 400 servo drive designed for automation use, compatible with linear motors, asynchronous motors, and servomotors. It is an Axis Module that can be connected sequentially to a Master Module, controlling one motor, converting power, and sharing the DC bus. The S406BA-SE can handle a rated current of 6000 milliampere and temporarily generate a maximum current of 12 ampere for up to 5 seconds. Functionality includes 4 digital programmable inputs, 2 digital programmable outputs, and compatibility with incremental encoder or resolver feedback types, connected via a SERCOS communication card. The device must operate within a temperature range of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and be stored between -13 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The S406BA-SE must be installed according to the IEC 60664-1 pollution grade 2 standards, indicating it should only experience non-conductive changes.
