The Kollmorgen S61000-NA is a robust, digital servo amplifier from the high-performance S600 series, known widely for their superior durability and reliability. With a current rating of 10 A rms and a voltage rating of 230-480 V, this model does not have an electric option or expansion capabilities, though does come with a myriad of safety features. These include overvoltage recognition, soft start, phase failure monitoring, and short-circuit protection. It boasts temperature monitoring for both the amplifier and motor, alongside an emergency stop button. Recommended operation conditions include an ambient temperature range of 0˚C to 45˚C, and a humidity level below 85%. Featuring an IP 20 rated enclosure, it has minimal dust protection and the manufacturer advises fitting unused slots with blind plugs for dust ingress prevention. Built-in-fan provides much-needed ventilation, given that it should be vertically mounted for optimum cooling.
