The SC722A001 is a single-axis servo controller created by Pacific Scientific. Part of the SC720 series, this controller is designed to function as a torque/velocity encoder and is capable of superior performance at 230VAC or 400VDC. It bears a 3.8A constant current and a peak at 7.5A, featuring a 12-bit RDC option code with 1024 pulses per revolution. Designed for brushless servo motors, the controller relies on seven input/output cables for connectivity, including the J1 motor cable for connecting the controller to motor windings. Remember to avoid powering up the unit without its cover or with the chassis grounded. Disconnect the power supply for safe shutdown. Store it in a dry, clean place within temperatures of -25°C to +85°C, and ideally within its original carton. The unit weighs nearly 14 pounds and should be mounted vertically in a 10-inch deep NEMA intended for industrial applications.
