The SD-B4.140.020-05.000 servomotor by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is a highly engineered, permanent-field motor featuring an electronic PC board for optimizing tacho and commutation signals. It is constructed with ferrite permanent magnets and comprises fixed ball bearings at its driving end with a flange conforming to IEC 72-2 / DIN 42948 standards. Weighing 38 kg, the motor includes a brushless tacho for rotor positioning and velocity feedback, and a NTC thermostat linked to the inverter for thermal evaluation. The motor is fully sealed, three-phased, with a low thermal resistance stator winding, and generates a peak torque three times its nominal value. It supports only approved connections, avoiding trailing cable operations, and cannot be mounted vertically with the shaft downward. Disconnection from the power supply is mandatory before handling its connections. Additionally, the motor offers an electrical time constant of 11 ms at 20°C and features both right-angled and straight plugs.
