The Bosch Rexroth Indramat SD-B5 250.015-10.000 is a robust permanent-field servomotor, designed to work with an inverter in a Servodyn drive system, ideally sourced from the same manufacturer. This motor operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40°C and allows horizontal or vertical mounting, with vertical installation limited to the IM V3 orientation to prevent fluid accumulation at the flange end. It features ball bearings, offering a minimum service life of 20,000 hours, and employs natural convection and thermal radiation for cooling. High surface temperatures may necessitate a touch guard. An integrated brushless tacho and commutation sensor are located at the non-driving end. The motor has a torque constant of 1.94 Nm/A, with a winding resistance of 1.26 Ohm and inductance of 26.8 mH. Installation must ensure proper shaft handling using suitable tools, as misuse can damage the rotor. The motor resists demagnetization with its peak torque thrice the rated torque.
