The Bosch Rexroth SD-B5.250.020-01.000 servomotor is a permanent-field motor designed to operate with a compatible inverter from Bosch Rexroth. Featuring an IP 54 protection class, the motor is equipped with permanent magnets in its rotor and ball bearings at its flange end. The motor uses a fixed bearing at the driving end and includes an integrated NTC thermostat for temperature monitoring. With a construction style of IM B5 based on DIN IEC 34-7, this motor is not customizable and lacks a built-in encoder. Users must avoid physical impacts on the shaft extension to prevent damage. Before initial use, it's essential to verify the compatibility of motor-module combinations via the type label. Improper module connection may lead to operational issues or damage. Mating connectors are not included and should be ordered separately. The motor’s braking resistors have a lower IP 20 protection, and its output diminishes if the ambient temperature exceeds specified limits.
