The SD-B5.380.020-10.000 servomotor, produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a high-performance permanent-field motor designed for demanding applications. It features a torque rating of 38 Nm and includes a tacho and commutation sensor at the non-driving end, providing velocity feedback. With a brushless construction, both the motor and tacho require minimal maintenance, though users must procure mating connectors separately. While the motor lacks a built-in disk brake, it supports straight and right-angled connectors. The motor's performance decreases if used outside the recommended temperature range, and caution is advised as the housing can become hot. The protection rating for the braking resistors is IP20. For safety, power should be disconnected before making connections. The motor can accommodate various drive elements, although it cannot be mounted in the IM V1 style due to the absence of an oil-tight bearing at the driving end. At least one supply module is necessary for operation.
