The Superior Electric SE2222 is a digital DC motor controller, manufactured by Kollmorgen. Part of the SE2000 series, it's a run-brake controlled model encapsulated within a NEMA 4/12 enclosure. It is designed for single-phase AC input and optimal for motors rated at 0.5 to 2 Horsepower at 230 Volts AC or 0.25 to 1 Horsepower at 115 Volts AC. The controller possesses a motor contactor for circuit switching and dynamic braking for motor slow-down applications. It's recommended for vertical mounting up to an altitude of 1000 meters, with an ambient temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius within an enclosure, or 55 degrees Celsius for chassis mounted units. This controller should be placed in a dust, moisture, and corrosive vapor-free environment. Measuring 8.5 inches in height, 5 inches in depth, and 7.25 inches in width, optional enhancements for the SE2222 include a 2-pole circuit breaker, tach-generator, fault module, controlled deceleration stop, and enhanced torque slope.
