The SERVOSTAR CD, by Kollmorgen, is a robust industrial-grade servo amplifier. It requires a Windows-compatible graphics adapter and a processor as powerful as a Pentium II to function. The amplifier features a start delay of less than 2ms and a maximum output response time of 10ms, providing efficient control and bridging output for incremental position and resolver ISDN with a resolver/digital converter. For safety, it includes a power contactor with phase detection, RF choke for electrical noise reduction, and circuit isolation. Proper transportation in its original packaging, guided by qualified personnel, is crucial to avoid shocks and damage. Storage conditions range from -25°C to +70°C, with a maximum temperature change of 20°C/hr and up to 95% relative humidity without condensation. As electrostatically sensitive equipment, it should be handled with care, avoiding static discharge by positioning on a conductive surface and verifying unit integrity upon receipt.
