The amplifier also incorporates heat-sensitive elements like PTCs within motor windings to prevent overheating. The device supports long-distance signal transmission with a lead loop resistance of 159.8 Ω/km and a cable capacitance of 60 nF/km. An SSI-interface provides absolute serial position output, ideal for applications requiring precise positioning. Built-in setpoint ramps optimize speed adjustments, minimizing instability risks. Moreover, a supply filter safeguards the amplifier from power line interference, while a limit switch function restricts machine movement to prevent operational hazards.
