The SF-A3.0068.030-00.018 is a compact-sized, brushless servo motor from the SF series by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, specifically designed for the Servodyn-D series of drives. Operating on a sinusoidal e.m.f, the motor has a DC link voltage capacity of 670 volts. It incorporates a single-turn absolute value encoder system, allowing the precise measurement and control of rotor speed and position. An aluminium frame with installation pockets, two NTCs for temperature management, and an electronic rating plate characterize the design. The output-side shaft end is feather keyed in accordance with DIN 6885, aiding in effective torque transmission. Notably, the motor doesn’t possess a holding brake but has an IP67 protection rating and adheres to the DIN IEC 34-7 basic construction type. The maximum noise emissions are 58 dB at a 1 meter distance. The lightweight 9-kilogram motor, with a 3000 rpm rated speed, offers radiator and natural convection cooling, with optional surface ventilation attachments. The maximum surface temperature can reach up to 100 degrees Celsius, allowing for the addition of a touch guard.
