The SM 15/30-TC1 is a modular servo inverter from Bosch Rexroth Indramat, designed for precise control of speed, position, and torque in industrial servo motors. Compatible with the SD motor series, it forms an efficient rapid-response system for production and processing applications. The inverter is rated at IP20, requiring installation in a closed control cabinet meeting at least IP54 for optimized protection. It features a built-in air blower and must be installed vertically for adequate ventilation. The device can control up to three SD motors via the "Axis Switching" module, with other optional modules available for enhanced functionality, such as startup switching, tacho and stall monitoring, and a ramp generator. It operates optimally at temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and at heights up to 1000 meters. An intuitive interface with LED displays on the front panel ensures straightforward configuration and monitoring of the system.
