The SMS10A016S002 from Sanyo Denki features an SMS-10 CPU Controller and fiber-optic SERCOS connectivity. Part of the BL Super Servo Amplifiers series, it supports programmable limit switches and precise axis synchronization. It offers low noise operation, simplified mechanics for reduced maintenance, and CompactFlash storage.

It has 4 TTL I/O ports and 2 insulated inputs plus 2 insulated outputs. The amplifier runs on 4.75–5.25 V DC and tolerates ambient temperatures up to 50 °C. It includes a color serial touchscreen interface.
