The Bosch Rexroth Indramat's SOT02-E2A-AS, an operator control device for the DLC, provides superior functionality compared to the DLC's built-in control panel. Presenting a larger viewing area (4-7/8" by 2-3/4"), its screen delivers a 16-line display, each line supporting 40 characters. This device communicates soft and hard faults, minor errors, system messages, and signals potentially harmful situations promptly. It relays notifications potentially disrupting normal operations, such as DLC system errors or invalid mode selection. In addition to standard system messages, this model informs users about the current DLC status and can be programmed to display additional screens for DLC-R type applications. The SOT02-E2A-AS also accommodates data entry and editing in the DLC, facilitated via click contact keys. Enhanced with ScreenManagerTM software, greater customization is possible. The adjustable black and white contrast on its non-glare screen is illuminated by a cold cathode fluorescent lamp.
