The Bosch Rexroth Indramat TCM 1.1-08-W0 is an essential auxiliary capacitor from the TCM series. With an 8 mF rating, it stores energy during drive braking which can be utilized during drive acceleration, thus enhancing energy efficiency and reducing heat loss. This accessory designed for Indramat power supplies in AC drive systems, converts three-phase AC input to DC high voltage through a rectifier, powering the drives. Due to high voltages and currents, only trained personnel should handle troubleshooting and repairs. It weighs around 7 kilograms and has an IP10 rated enclosure measuring 355 x 208 x 100 millimeters. Designed for convection cooling, it includes an air outlet and inlet, and requires a clearance of minimally 80 millimeters above and below the module for adequate airflow.
