The TVM1.2-50-220/300-W1-115/220, manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, is a power supply module that forms part of the TVM product line and Bose's AC drive system. It accommodates multiple drive modules, supplying high voltage DC for their motor power and control voltages. A power rectifier produces high voltage DC for drive units from a three-phase mains AC voltage. It has optional buffer capacitance for sufficient smoothing and an optional bleeder resistor to absorb regenerated power in generator mode. The modules boast extensive monitoring functionalities and communication is through the signal bus voltage. The unit accepts an input of 220 Volts AC (three-phase, 50 to 60 Hertz), with an output of 300 Volts DC and a nominal output of 50 Amps. The control electronics operate at 115 or 220 Volts AC input while an internal blower ensures heat dissipation. With a weight of 15 kilograms, the unit has advisable vertical mounting with good ventilation.
