The VACIII D6, a product of Okuma, functions with a conventional optical drive interface, the VAC5. With a built-in PCB control on the power unit, this device is equipped with a LED indicator to display error codes and control statuses for troubleshooting and routine checks. The system's 'HL' and 'HH' indicators reflect the winding changeover from low speed to high speed if the VAC4113 firmware or higher is present. System errors are indicated by an 'AL' display followed by the specific error code, such as motor overspeed signaled by alarm 2. Potential causes of errors could be a malfunctioning resolver, defective magnetic sensor on the encoder, or an abnormally large gap between the detection gear and magnetic encoder. Common issues may include excessive noise or vibration during motor operation, denoted by a 2-7 error, with various underlying issues detailed in the manual. Before troubleshooting, verify that the power supply ranges between 180 to 220 V ac, ensuring tight connections and correct plug positioning.
