The Bosch Rexroth Indramat VCP05.1BSN-RS-NN-PW operator terminal is a compact device designed for regulating application-related functions in machines. It features a robust design that allows for versatile mounting, accompanied by a polyethylene foam seal for added durability. Fronted by a 30-key keypad with a chemically-resistant polyester foil finish, the terminal also offers a 4 x 20 character display. The casing is constructed from galvanized steel, and the unit weighs approximately 500g. The device functions with a proprietary operating system and requires continual electrical supply and, if necessary, connection to a field bus system. The terminal is unable to be upgraded. It includes a TTY 20mA RS232/485 serial interface but necessitates separate procurement of the firmware. This versatile tool is suitable for single or multiple-axis control tasks, boasting an IP 54 protected front panel and an IP 20 rated rear panel.
