The VCP08.2DTN-003-NN-NN-PW is a highly versatile and robust operator terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth. Part of the renowned VCP series, it supports integration with both serial bus and Fieldbus interfaces. Suited to various applications, the terminal allows users to activate machine functions via a 39-key membrane keyboard. To aid operation, 15 status LEDs are included. Compatibility extends to the DeviceNet and PROFIBUS DP interfaces with isolated interface slots. Powered by a 200 MHz RISC ARM9 CPU with a real-time clock, a watchdog timer, and battery monitor, the terminal has ample memory options, including 512KB SRAM and SDRAM and an additional 3MB application memory backed by 16MB flash memory. Connections are simple thanks to D-SUB, Phoenix COMBICON, RJ45 female, and USB female connectors. This energy-efficient model consumes just 0.25 A of current at 24 V supply, with a connected load of 6W. The FSTN display offers comfortable viewing with temperature-compensated contrast, a 30,000-hour half-life backlight, and a 320x240 pixel resolution which displays in five shades of grey.
