As a product from Bosch Rexroth Indramat's component series 2X, the VT-MSPA1-2X-F5-000-000 is a specialized valve amplifier built for proportional valves and pump controls without electrical position feedback. It features adjustable parameters and on-device storage for valve characteristic curves. Capable of optimizing proportional valves using a singular solenoid, this amplifier works within a 40 to 20 milliamps command value current range. The unit, designed to assemble on top hat rails, gets wired through three tension spring plug-in connectors and operates on a 24-volt DC power supply, with maximum allowable variation from 18 to 36 volts DC, inclusive of a 2.5 Vpp residual ripple at the most. The protection features include a built-in making current limiter, polarity inversion, and a 3.5 Amp time-lag fuse. The unit powers up in under a second and operates within 0 to 60 degree Celsius, but can store between -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. A UV-protected storage allows for 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. However, excessive UV exposure can cause color changes in its partly UV-resistant housing. Measuring 99 x 22.5 x 114 mm, the unit should be installed vertically.
