The VT-MSPA2-1-10-V0-0, an industrial modular amplifier by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is tailor-made for operating proportional directional valves without position feedback. Powered by a 24V DC input, it includes an integrated making current limiter and a power supply module that caters to all internal positive and negative voltage requirements. An enable function initiates the power output stages and propagates the internal command value signal to the ramp generator. This process tapers the valve opening and prevents abrupt opening to control function better. The amplifier also includes an LED indicator and possesses an output short-circuit and over-current protection mechanism. With a peak solenoid current of 2.7 Amps, it connects via 12 screw terminals and complies with the IP20 protection rating as per EN 60715. The unit dimensions are 40 x 79 x 85.5 mm, weighs 140 grams, and has optimal performance at 0-50 degrees Celcius. Connections must only be made in switched-off mode to preserve safety standards.
