The X20CMR111, developed by B & R Automation, is a sophisticated monitoring module designed to integrate seamlessly with the X20 product family. This module excels at measuring cabinet conditions, including temperature, moisture, and humidity, while also tracking operating hours and power-on cycles. Data storage is facilitated by 512 kB of integrated flash memory, ensuring reliable data retention without reliance on external devices and supporting license protection via technology guarding. It allows for system expansion with 2 inputs for PT1000 temperature sensors, 2 digital inputs (24 VDC with 6.4 kOhm resistance), and 1 digital output. Operating efficiently, it consumes 0.4 W on the bus and 0.1 W for internal I/Os, with an additional power dissipation of 0.075 W. The flash memory is durable, withstanding 10 million write/erase cycles and a lifespan of up to 20 years at 55°C. Additionally, it ensures data preservation through blackout mode during network disruptions. Sensors function within a -40 to 125°C range.
