The X20CP0411, part of B & R Automation's X20 Compact-S series, is a robust controller powered by a 240 MHz ARM Cortex A9 processor with integrated I/O processing. Featuring 128 MB DDR3 SDRAM and 512 MB of onboard flash memory, it offers 16 kB FRAM for remanent storage. Standard interfaces include Ethernet, RS-232, and USB, with optional CAN and RS-485. Its fanless, battery-free design ensures minimal maintenance. LED indicators provide Ethernet and CPU status, with temperature diagnostics accessible via software. It supports Visual Components, storage health data, and ACOPOS, although redundant operation is not supported. Certified by CE, UKCA, ATEX, and HazLoc, it consumes 2.2 Watts. The internal clock functions for 300-1000 hours at 25°C with 1-second resolution and -18 to 28 ppm accuracy. It houses 512 MB eMMC flash memory with 10-year retention and supports substantial write/erase cycles. The IP20-rated device facilitates efficient data management and communication.
