The X20CP1586 by B&R Automation is a high-performance processor module designed for industrial automation applications. It features a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom E680T processor and is equipped with 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM and 1 MB SRAM for efficient data handling and storage. For additional storage, it includes a CompactFlash memory slot. This module supports versatile connectivity with one Ethernet 10/100/1000BASE-T, one RS232, and two USB 1.1/2.0 interfaces. It also incorporates a POWERLINK V1/V2 Type 4 fieldbus interface for enhanced network communication. Notably, the X20CP1586 operates without a cooling fan, reducing mechanical failure risk. Powered by a 24 VDC source, it consumes 9.7 W of power when the interface module and USB connections are inactive. Its real-time clock offers precise timekeeping, and it functions within a -25 to 60 degrees C temperature range. Measuring 150mm x 99mm x 85mm, it easily integrates into diverse systems.
