The B & R Automation X20CP3686X CPU controller from the X20 Fieldbus Input Output Modules series integrates an Intel Atom E3827, dual core, 1.75 GHz processor with 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM main memory and 2 GB onboard flash memory for robust application storage. Its fanless design and IP20 protection class ensure reliable performance in industrial environments. The module operates on a 24 VDC (-25%/+20%) supply with a typical power consumption of 8.5 W and supports an operating temperature range of 0 to +60 °C (storage: -25 to +70 °C). It offers versatile connectivity through 2x USB 2.0, 2x 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ45) Ethernet ports with switch function, and serial interfaces (1x RS232 and 1x RS485 at up to 115 kbaud). Additional features include an SD card slot for removable storage, the Automation Runtime operating system, and compact dimensions of 100 x 130 x 85 mm for flexible installation.
