The X20DC1198-C01, produced by B&R Industrial Automation, is a specialized digital counter module within the X20 series equipped with a synchronous serial interface (SSI) encoder. This module is crucial in automated industrial systems for precisely monitoring a machine's angle, position, and rotation to ensure safe and efficient operation. It operates with a 5-volt supply, handling up to 300 mA. Besides the SSI encoder, the X20DC1198-C01 includes two digital inputs designed for controlling binary X20 units or third-party devices.
