The B & R Automation X20DO4332 is a digital output module from the X20 series, designed for industrial automation applications. It features four digital outputs, each supporting up to a 2A current, with a total maximum current of 8A. Powered by a 24 VDC with a switching range of +/- 15%, this module uses source output circuits to deliver a positive voltage to connected devices, utilizing a 3-wire connection for efficient power distribution. The X20DO4332 incorporates thermal cutoff and an internal inverse diode for overcurrent and polarity protection, respectively. Its diagnostic functions include status LEDs and software indicators for quick system assessment and error reporting. Versatile in installation, it can be mounted horizontally or vertically to fit system needs and is suitable for typical industrial environments with an IP20 enclosure rating. The module is energy-efficient, consuming 0.16 W of bus power and 0.49 W of I/O power, with a peak short circuit current below 4A.
