The B & R Automation X20IF1061 is an interface module from the X20 series, crafted for seamless data transfer in industrial automation systems. It includes status indicators for both the module and the bus, offering real-time operational monitoring. Supporting a maximum transfer rate of 12 Mbit/s, it ensures rapid information exchange within the system. Electrical isolation between the PLC and IF1 is integral, preventing unwanted current flows that could impair component performance. The module is designed for horizontal installation, operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25 to 60°C, while vertical installations are optimal within -25 to 50°C. It features 8 MB of SDRAM, accommodating cyclic data storage, alongside support for 3.5 kB of cyclic input and output data, enhancing data processing tasks. Demonstrating energy efficiency, it consumes just 1.4 W of power, making it an ideal choice for energy-conscious applications.
