The X20IF1061-1 is a communication module manufactured by B & R Automation, designed for integration with the X20 systems. Featuring a Profibus DP V1 interface, it facilitates communication between third-party components and X20 systems. It is compatible with the X20BC1083 Powerlink bus controller or X20 CPU and is protected by a specialized coating against corrosive gases and condensation, compliant with BMW GS 95011-4 and EN 60068-2-60 standards. The module supports a 12 Mbps data transfer rate with a maximum transmission range of 1200 meters via a 9-pin DSUB connector. It features 8 MB SDRAM memory and cyclic data handling capabilities of up to 3.5 kB. Firmware updates and Profibus interface configuration are manageable through Automation Studio software. It consumes 1.8 Watts and includes diagnostic LEDs. Certified by CE, ATEX, UL, HazLoc, and KC, it should be installed by professionals.
